It takes a Mom for advice like this...

So, I was on the phone with Mom just now, and I disclosed to her that I'd drank a WHOLE BOTTLE of Alice White Cabernet/Shiraz blend this evening. A decidedly "ghetto" blend, but hey, it's drinkable and alcoholic, perfect for a Friday whose bright point was an oil change for Harleybird. Anyway, her sage advice, from her many years of experience was:

"Go drink a couple glasses of water and open another bottle."

Is it any wonder I'm as happy and functional a person as I am, with a mother like that...with ADVICE LIKE THAT??? Love that!!!

And, if you're wondering....yes, I opened another bottle.
