What I'm drinking...
Cortenova 2003 Maruggia Rosso del Salento (Italy, $9.99)
It's a blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Primativo (one of my favorite grapes). One review says it has "robust flavors of raspberry and black cherry along with some licorice, cedar and earth," and that it is "nice and juicy with firm structure and a lot of grip."
I say it's yummy and drinkable. Recommended.
