My Mamacita Approacheth!

I just had to make a visit to my long-neglected blog to note for posterity that my mother is coming to visit me this weekend and I'm so very excited to see her. Oh, the eating and drinking and laughing and debate-watching and Farmer's Market-going and thrift store shopping we'll do!

Here are my blogified prayers for her safe journey through the perils of the Chicago tollway system (in a light rain, no less), and a speedy arrival at my Dragon doorstep.
